On my openSUSE I found this file here: /usr/lib/crti.o. It was provided 
by glibc-devel anb glibc-devel-32bit packages. On Ubuntu we install 
libc6-dev-i386, libc6-i386 packages. Try this. If it will not help, you 
can read this:
